11/13/2023 0 Comments Wo long fallen dynasty boss list![]() Zhang will perform some similar moves, but will often double up, requiring multiple deflects in a row that have altered timing. This phase is all about patience and attrition, even more so than the first phase. You’ll always have a brief moment of respite to heal as the second phase begins, as Zhang will always start with a sweep of his demonic arm that will never have the range to hit you from your starting position. Denoted with the red glow, the only barrier to this tactic is timing, which will come with studying attacks, and likely multiple deaths and attempts. In both phases, as with many of the coming boss fights in the game, your ace in the hole is deflecting any and all Critical Blow attacks that an enemy performs. As usual, keep your lock-on engaged on Liang as he does so, and don't get trigger happy with the deflect button wait until the last moment as he slams down. Liang will occasionally launch into the air with his club, which will cause him to hang in the air for a second or two before slamming down. ![]() Every little bit of damage counts!Īfter each of his attacks (should you successfully deflect) you’ll have a brief window in which you can perform a Normal, Normal, Spirit attack combo that can keep him stunlocked for brief periods of time, and if it is rapidly repeated you can whittle his health down quickly. ![]() Whilst the spells aren’t super effective, the brief moments of distance you can gain from Zhang in this first phase will allow you to cast a couple of spells. If you haven’t already unlocked and assigned any Wizardry Spells, it’s worth doing so at the Battle Flag if you die and need another attempt at defeating Zhang. If you want a couple of free hits, immediately sprint towards him at the beginning of the fight as he slams down his mace/club weapon, and even use a Martial Arts attack if you’re feeling confident. This attack doesn’t do a lot of damage in and of itself, but Fengxi will often follow this sweep up immediately with another attack from its moveset, so be prepared.Whilst Zhang will by far be the most agile and aggressive opponent you have faced thus far, his first phase shouldn’t prove too much trouble so long as you have a good grasp of the Deflect mechanic. Like the other bosses in the game, be careful when at the rear of Fengxi, as it has a sweep attack that will turn it 180 degrees to face you. This can be further expedited by using the Qinlin Divine Beast summon during the fight, the AOE of which will almost fully lower Fengxi’s Spirit Gauge just from the initial summon. Feel free to stay relatively close to Fengxi, as you simply need to hit deflect just as its body comes down on you to flip it over, likely allowing for another Fatal Strike, if not put you much closer to performing one.įengxi is also surprisingly easy to stagger by lowering their Spirit Gauge, allowing for multiple Fatal Strikes over the course of the fight. ![]() This is the most telegraphed move of the fight, as Fengxi rears up on its hind legs, staggers towards you, and after a split second will slam down. Keep your lock-on trained on Fengxi so that you have the maximum amount of time to react to these charge attempts.Īnother Critical Blow attack Fengxi will attempt is a body slam. ![]() Most charges from Fengxi begin on the opposite end of the arena to wherever you are, which means you should have ample time to run/dodge out of the way, or attempt a deflection if you are feeling confident.Īny Critical Blow charge that Fengxi attempts will be even slower than the regular charges, with Fengxi roaring open mouthed as it charges. Of course, this can easily throw you off timing wise as you’ve become accustomed to speedy deflections, but so long as you keep your cool this fight should be over relatively quickly. Though Fengxi relies mostly on charging attacks and swipes with its tusks, this is arguably the slowest enemy you will have faced thus far. ![]()
